Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter/Make Ready to join our team at McKinney Falls in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our property, preparing units for new residents, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, lobbies, and exterior grounds.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by performing cleaning, minor repairs, and inspections.
• Assist with moving furniture and appliances as needed during unit make ready processes.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure trash and debris are properly disposed of and recycling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Respond promptly to resident requests related to cleanliness and unit readiness.
• Follow all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
