About the role
This role of Senior/Channel Control Analyst, located in Taipei, will be an important piece of our Sales Finance Team. It is responsible together with the team leader for analysing & controlling the Financial Revenue & Commercial Product Margin in our important Sales Channels of Distribution EMS and OEM.
In this exciting role, you will be a vital component of our Order-2-Cash Process and in direct contact with customers, Account Manager, Commercial Marketing and Business Group Controller and Credit Control Managers. This Job requires a pro-active approach to manage the risks in Channel Business and getting a clear grip on the Turnaround times of e.g. Distribution Stock in relation to our Sales to Disti (POA) and Sales to Distis to end customers (POS).
What you will do
Perform Sales Rebate Control and Operation; work together with Collection team for Cash Forecasting
Sales accrual management including accrual percentage setup, accrual assessment, accrual rolling forecast and co-operation with multi-departments such as Sales team, Commercial Marketing, Treasury, BG Controllers, Legal and Customers.
Manage and operate Incentive programs with key stakeholders.
Monitoring financial KPI with Sales/Marketing/Pricing team.
Ensure all Channel Control activities are Internal Control Compliant.
Participate in (many times cross function) relevant Projects or improvement initiatives.
Other Ad hoc financial analysis
What you will need
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration
4 years or more experience in Sales Controlling, Revenue Recognition and Distribution Accounting and/or related Business processes such Sales, Marketing etc.
Expert skill with Excel, familiar with MS Word and Power Point
Experience in huge business data analysis via Excel Power BI or Tibco Spotfire
Experience and Affinity with SAP (e.g. experience with SAP BW, SAP-SD, SAP-FICO)
Experience in IFRS in area of Revenue Recognition is a plus
Likes to work in a dynamic business environment and ready to change where required
Pro-active & Ability to get Things Done attitude with a structural drive to improve
Works accurately and organized
Self-critical on work performed
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders. Strong proficiency in English is required.
Team Player who can work well under time pressure and able to work independently
