EHS Specialist
主な職責 / Key Accountabilities
群馬工場のEHS目標設定と達成をリードし、グローバル/APACのフレームワークに準拠した運用を徹底する
グローバルのリーンオペレーション・モジュールをNDLオペレーションへ展開する事務局として、導入支援および進捗管理を行う。
規制情報の収集、行政報告対応、ISO14001の維持、および監督官庁(群馬県等)と連携し法令を遵守する
安全な企業文化の構築と従業員エンゲージメントの向上に貢献する
経営陣から現場従業員までを対象とした、EHSおよびリーンに関連する教育計画の立案と実施
インシデント発生時の調査、根本原因の分析、およびグローバルへの報告と再発防止策の実行
APAC EHSリーダーと緊密に連携し、APAC EHSミーティングとトレーニングに参加する
生産本部長、又はAPAC EHSリーダーによるその他の依頼事項に対応する
学歴・資格
環境、労働衛生、安全、または工学関連の学士号
または、関連業務での5年以上の実務経験
衛生管理者の資格があれば尚良し
リーン、シックスシグマ、または業務改善に関する基礎知識があれば尚良し
技術的能力とスキル
日本の環境・安全衛生関連法令に関する総合的な理解
ISO14001の運用および内部監査経験
プロジェクト管理能力。グローバル基準をローカル(現場)に落とし込むための調整スキル
日本語および英語による円滑なコミュニケーション(文書・口頭)。APACとの会議に参加できる英語力
リスク評価ツール(RA)の活用と改善提案能力
リーダーシップ能力 / Leadership Competence
新しい仕組み(リーン)を組織に浸透させるための変革推進力
生産本部長、APACリーダー、現場スタッフの間を繋ぐ高い調整能力
目標達成に向けた強いコミットメントとレポーティング能力
関連する経験
製造業におけるEHS管理業務の経験(5年以上)

Job Description: EHS Specialist
Key Accountabilities
Lead the setting and achievement of EHS goals for the Gunma Plant, ensuring full compliance with Global and APAC operational frameworks
Serve as the secretariat for deploying Global Lean Operation modules to NDL operations, providing implementation support and progress management
Collect regulatory updates, manage administrative reporting, maintain ISO 14001 certification, and ensure legal compliance through liaison with regulatory authorities (Gunma Prefecture, etc.).
Contribute to fostering a robust safety culture and enhancing employee engagement
Plan and execute EHS and Lean-related educational programs for all levels, from senior management to frontline employees
Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), report findings to Global stakeholders, and implement corrective/preventive actions
Collaborate closely with the APAC EHS Leader and participate in APAC EHS meetings and training sessions
Address other requests as assigned by the Plant Director or the APAC EHS Leader
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering, or a related field
Professional certification as a Health Supervisor (Eisei Kansha) is a plus
Foundational knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies is preferred
Technical Capabilities & Skills
Comprehensive understanding of Japanese environmental and occupational health and safety (OHS) laws and regulations
Experience in ISO 14001 operations and internal auditing
Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate the localization of global standards to the shop floor
Fluent communication skills (written and verbal) in both Japanese and English, including the ability to participate effectively in APAC-level meetings
Proficiency in utilizing Risk Assessment (RA) tools and proposing practical improvements
Leadership Competence
The ability to drive transformation and embed new systems (Lean) within the organization
Strong interpersonal skills to bridge communication between the Plant Director, APAC leaders, and onsite staff
A strong commitment to achieving targets and high-level reporting capabilities
Relevant Experience
Minimum of 5 years of EHS management experience within the manufacturing industry.
Practical experience working in a multinational or foreign-capital company
Experience participating in productivity improvement projects or global standard implementation is a significant advantage
Others
Business-level English (speaking and writing)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
