Overview:
- Full-time, Fixed Term position until 24th December 2026
- Salary Level HEW 5 + 17% Superannuation
- Based at the Bundoora campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University
About the role
The WIL Officer will provide a wide range of administrative and client service support for WIL in the College Office. The role will carry out regular compliance checking and administration for WIL Programs, respond to student queries, communicate with relevant stakeholders (Academics, Students and Industry Partners), and maintain relevant University databases.
The WIL Officer will be responsible for all administrative tasks relating to work integrated learning for specific STEM Disciplines.
The WIL Officer will also contribute to a collaborative team culture, working as a team player to support other team members in busier periods. This role may occasionally be required to work nonstandard to meet critical deadlines and leave restrictions will apply during peak periods.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional staff, students, and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Proven ability to work independently and use initiative, with strong task prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated capacity to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
Experience in delivering high-quality professional administrative services, with knowledge of WIL processes, is considered an advantage.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
High-level proficiency in a range of computer software applications, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.

The STEM College Office professional staff are instrumental in providing students with a transformative and enriched learning experience, and in supporting our research and engagement administration activities. Centralised in the STEM College Office, at our City and Bundoora campuses, professional staff members have opportunities to cross-skill, engage in professional development and develop their own career paths.
