Overview:
RMIT Vietnam is looking for a Social Media and Digital Marketing Officer to support our Postgraduate marketing initiatives, with a key focus on planning and producing engaging multimedia content across digital channels and campaigns to strengthen brand visibility, drive engagement, and increase consideration for our Postgraduate programs.
This position is offered as a 8-month contract and will be engaged through a third-party provider.

POSITION SUMMARY
The role the day-to-day management and optimisation of key channels including social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and email marketing, while supporting integrated campaign execution across both online and offline touchpoints. Working closely with stakeholders, the role plays a critical part in guiding prospective postgraduate students along the decision-making journey
Key Accountabilities
- Support the planning and production of social media content across Postgraduate channels in line with the monthly content plan and channel frameworks, including drafting social media copy (e.g. Facebook and LinkedIn posts) and writing scripts or video outlines for other social media assets (e.g. interviews with students, lecturers, campus life feature...)
- Manage content publishing and day-to-day operations across Postgraduate's social media channels, including community engagement and sentiment management
- Collaborate with stakeholders across and outside the University to source content opportunities and ensure timely, high-quality content delivery across formats in English and Vietnamese
- Support the content ideation, execution and coordination for marketing campaigns, including digital campaigns (e.g. awareness and lead generation), out-of-home campaigns, and user-generated content projects. This includes the development of creative briefs, ad copies, and facilitation of student contributors through briefing, guidance, and follow-up throughout the content creation process.
- Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and support student recruitment objectives via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Monitor performance across key channels, prepare monthly reports, and provide insights and actionable recommendations for optimization.
Key Selection Criteria
- Requirement of qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Professional Communication, Advertising or relevant expertise.
- 2-3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or marketing. Understanding the higher education segment is preferred.
- Proven experience in social media management, including channel management, community engagement, and content creation, ideally within education, technology, or agency environments
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with familiarity in short-form video content format as a plus.
- Passionate for storytelling with the capacity to uncover meaningful takeaways and develop compelling content from everyday narratives
- Professional communication skills in English and Vietnamese, including the ability to draft content in English and produce polished content in Vietnamese
- Able to translate creative ideas into clear creative briefs for creative time (including designer and video production team)
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
