About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized part-time HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting day-to-day HR operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee files, HR records, and documentation with a high level of accuracy
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all HR data and personnel information
- Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and recruiting processes, escalating more complex issues as needed
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork, coordinating background checks, and scheduling orientation sessions
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment and communication with providers
- Help process HR paperwork such as new hires, changes, and terminations, including exit procedures
- Provide support with payroll processes, including responding to employee questions and helping resolve discrepancies
- Serve as a liaison between employees and external vendors (benefits providers, background check vendors, etc.)
- Assist with HR administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation
- Maintain office and HR supplies inventory and ensure materials are available as needed
Qualifications
- 0–1 year of experience in HR or administrative support role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of HR processes and best practices
- Familiarity with payroll processes or HR systems (HRIS, ATS)
- Understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements (a plus)
- Experience supporting onboarding, benefits, or recruiting processes

- Salary is commensurate with experience and paid via direct deposit. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. PakEnergy reserves the right to adjust ranges based on qualifications, experience, training, work history, and geographic location of the selected candidate.
