Job Description
To provide administrative support for implementing Omni culture, benefits, training programs, recruitment, safety, worker’s compensation, and other programs that help the Associate Services Department meet its mission statement, strategic objectives and standard operating procedures.
Professionally and warmly meet and greet all guests to ASC
Assist associates with Human Resources related questions and concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Provide administrative support to HRD, HRM and Recruitment Manager as needed
Answer phones and phone inquiries.
Ensure office supplies are available, and order as needed; keep within budgetary guidelines
Complete all Human Resources filing and recordkeeping in a timely and organized manner, including maintaining employee personnel files, compliance records, and HR binders.
Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department
Assist with community relations events as needed by HRD.
Support the hiring process by managing candidate applications, assisting new hires with onboarding paperwork, and ensuring all employment documentation is completed accurately and timely.
Develop associate communications network within the hotel, via quarterly newsletter, monthly calendar, department communication boards, posters and flyers
Prepare, maintain, and submit all required union reports and documentation accurately and within established deadlines.
Manage data in the HRIS system (Dayforce)
Manage workers’ compensation claims, ensuring timely completion of required documentation, maintenance of claim records, and accurate tracking and reporting of OSHA logs.
Attend daily stand-up meetings and provide timely Human Resources and staffing updates to operational leaders.
Requirements
Relevant hospitality and/or customer service/administrative experience
Experience in working in a hotel union environment is preferred.
Highly motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, guest service and teamwork.
High level of written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency; specifically with Microsoft Office and Windows. Micros experience is preferred.
The ability to work in a fast-paced high pressure work environment while executing delegated tasks and assignments
Maintain neat and organized Human Resources office.
