This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and executing the global scientific communications strategy across a complex, multi-asset biopharmaceutical portfolio. The Executive Director will shape how scientific evidence is translated into clear, consistent, and impactful narratives across publications, medical education, and congress activities. Operating at the intersection of Medical Affairs, R&D, and Commercial, this leader ensures that scientific messaging is aligned with pipeline milestones, regulatory strategy, and lifecycle objectives. The role provides enterprise-wide governance, building scalable infrastructure and multi-year communication plans that support both current and future therapies. It requires strong cross-functional leadership, external scientific engagement, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across global teams and alliance partners. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and deeply mission-driven, focused on advancing science to improve outcomes in rare diseases.
