Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting the right new or pre-owned Subaru vehicle to fit their needs and budget.

  • Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and follow-up.

  • Conduct vehicle presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Perform test drives and explain vehicle features, technology, safety systems, and benefits.

  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and sales opportunities.

  • Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom traffic.

  • Maintain knowledge of current inventory, incentives, rebates, financing options, and Subaru products.

  • Achieve individual and team sales goals.

  • Complete all necessary sales documentation accurately and efficiently.

  • Deliver vehicles and provide customers with a thorough orientation of their new purchase.

  • Prospect and generate new business through referrals, networking, and repeat customers.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.


Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive sales experience preferred but not required.

  • Retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or business development experience is a plus.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated with a desire to succeed.

  • Goal-oriented and driven by performance-based compensation.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Basic computer proficiency.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
