Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who is eager to take ownership, grow, and advance their career in the international environment of Samsung SDS.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle tax & accounting documents and keep financial operations on track

• Ensure compliance with internal standards and legal requirements

• Prepare VAT returns, statutory filings, and audit-ready reports

• Monitor data flow between SAP and billing systems and reconcile discrepancies

• Support Senior Accountant and audits with accurate information

• Cooperate with Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring

• Take ownership of specific accounting areas (fixed assets, accruals, intercompany)

• Contribute to process improvements and implementation of new accounting procedures

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting

• Communicative level of English and fluency in Slovak language

• MS Office skills: Advanced (Excel in particular)

• Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and responsible approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other accounting systems is a plus

• Deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
