SANITATION SPECIALIST
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Clean all restrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of lunchrooms, conference rooms, gyms, foyers, game room and communal areas.
- Take out all office and communal trash.
- Sweep and mop office space as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
- Ability to keep the building clean and orderly.
- Ability to interact with employees and visitors at work while remaining professional, polite, and courteous
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
