FABRICATION SUPERVISOR
JOB SUMMARY
The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for adherence to all departmental processes, procedures, and safety policies are followed; monitors quality and efficiency; supports Zone Leads; and drives continuous improvement, including current process refinement and new process implementation where applicable. The supervisor serves as the primary communication link between team members, other zones, and management, ensuring production, quality, and training needs are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Direct and coordinate daily workflow across fabrication zones to meet production requirements.
- Ensure Zone Leads understand priorities, expectations, and assigned tasks.
- Monitor zone performance, providing coaching, feedback, and corrective action when needed.
- Enforce all safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure adherence to all departmental processes, including current process refinement and new process implementation.
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards, including documentation, traceability, and process control.
- Evaluate team member performance and communicate results to the Fabrication Manager.
- Identify and resolve production issues, escalating when necessary.
- Support programming, upkeep, and training for 3i Bend equipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve manufacturability and provide feedback from fabrication.
- Utilize the ERP system to track and report departmental metrics and efficiencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of sheet and tubular steel fabrication.
- Proven experience as a supervisor or in a relevant leadership role.
- Ability to learn and support multiple fabrication processes and job functions.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing and fabrication

Starting Salary: $70,000-90,000 annually or higher depending on experience.
