Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the governance of Fire Protection, Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Waste Management programs for the site, ensuring compliance with LEGO Group standards, insurance requirements, fire protection standards (e.g., FM Global, NFPA), and applicable local environmental and safety regulations.

  • Develop and maintain the site Fire Protection, Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Waste Management strategic roadmap, defining priorities, risk mitigation initiatives, operational resilience strategies, and long-term sustainability objectives.

  • Coordinate and ensure timely follow-up and closure of findings from fire protection audits, insurance inspections, environmental assessments, and internal compliance reviews, ensuring risks are properly addressed.

  • Act as the technical governance point of contact for Fire Protection Systems, ensuring alignment with FM Global, NFPA, and equivalent international standards, while coordinating with the facilities teams responsible for system operation and maintenance.

  • Lead the site Business Continuity Planning (BCP) framework, coordinating cross-functional teams to identify operational risks and ensure adequate resilience and redundancy of critical infrastructure, utilities, and operational processes.

  • Lead the site Waste Management strategy, including analysis of total waste generation, development of waste reduction roadmaps, hazardous waste minimization initiatives, and advancement of Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL) objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance and performance monitoring through defined KPIs.

  • Support new building projects and site expansions by ensuring Fire Protection, Risk Management, and Waste Management requirements are incorporated during design reviews, risk assessments, and project compliance processes.

  • Monitor and report KPIs related to fire protection compliance, risk mitigation actions, business continuity preparedness, and waste management performance, ensuring visibility, structured follow-up, and continuous improvement.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience in environmental management, fire protection governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance within industrial or manufacturing environments.

  • Experience working with Fire Protection Systems standards and regulations, including NFPA, FM Global, and applicable local regulations.

  • Proven experience in waste management programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste compliance, environmental reporting, and waste reduction initiatives.

  • Experience coordinating audits, inspections, and compliance processes with regulatory authorities, insurers, or internal governance bodies.

  • Experience participating in risk assessments, business continuity planning (BCP), or operational resilience initiatives within industrial environments.

  • Experience developing processes, procedures, and structured follow-up mechanisms to ensure compliance and operational discipline.

  • Ability to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders, contractors, and service providers in industrial environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and propose mitigation actions.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring prioritization, planning, and timely execution of compliance actions.

  • Experience using enterprise systems or data analysis tools, such as SAP, Power BI, or similar platforms, for reporting and performance tracking.

  • Experience coordinating external contractors and environmental service providers related to waste management or regulatory compliance.

  • Waste Management experience

  • English fluent level.
