Overview of Role Reporting to the Manufacturing Excellence Manager, you are responsible for identifying the initiatives and driving the improvements to support manufacturing efficiency while at the same time maintaining world-class product quality. You will cooperate closely with both our partners’ production team and our product development team on end-to-end process and quality management. You will also drive manufacturing process and quality consistency among different platforms and production sites. Core Responsibilities • Regularly role model BOA’s values to your team and others • Deep understanding of all platform item’s production processes and quality requirement, proactively identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives drive manufacturing efficiency improvement through cooperation with cross functional team. • Create and manage platform manufacturing efficiency & quality performance KPI and metrics (i.e. UPLH, DPPM) • Overview manufacturing process audit result and ensure compliance with our manufacturing standards and organization expectations. Key approver of production 5M1E change • Manage the PRs problem solving process and drive improvements for long-term design for manufacturing and quality. • Strong manufacturing data analysis capabilities, identify supplier improvement opportunities through manufacturing data analysis, and provide management decision support for the department and the company. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree and major in Industrial engineering, Electrical and Mechanical engineering, Plastics Materials or relevant discipline. • At least 5 year’s working experience in lean improvement or operational excellence or quality related role in manufacturing industry. • Familiar with Lean & Six Sigma Tools: SMED, VSM, 8D, Poka-Yoke, FMEA, MSA...etc. • Good command of English and able to host meetings with global team. • Knowledge and experience in project management. • With flexibility to travel to global manufacturing sites (Jiangxi or Vietnam) based on business needs.
