This role owns global product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle performance for GE HealthCare’s ~$100M Respiratory Monitoring portfolio spanning Patient Monitoring and Anesthesia. The position is accountable for translating clinical insights and customer needs into differentiated, scalable product solutions that drive sustainable growth, improve clinical outcomes, and reinforce GE HealthCare’s leadership in perioperative and intensive care environments.The Senior Global Product Manager operates at the intersection of clinical depth, commercial execution, and portfolio strategy, balancing in‑market growth, installed base vitality, and new product investment decisions. The role partners closely with regional commercial teams, R&D, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure products are clinically relevant, economically sound, and execution‑ready across global markets.
A core expectation is strong commercial acumen: shaping go‑to‑market strategies, pricing, positioning, and sales enablement to accelerate orders growth and lifecycle performance. The role also integrates voice‑of‑customer, competitive intelligence, and industry trends into clear business cases that guide capital allocation and roadmap prioritization.
Beyond individual products, this leader contributes to long‑term portfolio direction for PCS (Patient Care Solutions), influences cross‑functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment, and ensures respiratory monitoring solutions are increasingly connected, data‑enabled, and aligned with digital ecosystems. Operational rigor, quality, and compliance are non‑negotiable, with accountability for customer satisfaction, product vitality, and continuous improvement across the lifecycle.
In short, this role is a strategic owner and execution leader for a critical PCS portfolio—driving growth, clinical impact, and portfolio coherence at scale within GE HealthCare’s $3B+ Patient Care Solutions business.
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
The Global Product Manager will have accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives relating to the portfolio of responsibility. They will be on point to integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Contributes to long-term portfolio strategy by aligning clinical insights, market trends, and business priorities to shape future product direction.
High levels of commercial skills are required to drive in-market success and growth for the portfolio working with commercial region counterparts in training, marketing, commercial approaches, pricing and go-to-market.
Developing specialized knowledge of latest clinical, technology and commercial trends in own area and foster relationships to key opinion leaders and other industry partners to contribute towards strategy and policy development.
Has in-depth knowledge of domain of responsibility; continues gathering working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate solutions in the market, and primes these to support product/sales training and commercial competencies.
Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
Has strong communication and relationship skills to influence others, and an ability to work in a global business environment across cultures and time zones.
This person will be engaged with strategic technology partners and key customers to ensure that product development strategy matches customer and market needs.
Collaborates with R&D and engineering teams to align product development with clinical and market needs.
Improves clinician experience by understanding how users interact with products from setup to daily use and driving enhancements across the product lifecycle.
Supports integration of monitoring solutions into digital ecosystems, enabling seamless data integration, analytics, and clinical decision support.
Operationally, they will manage product lifecycle projects with cross-functional stakeholders for their portfolio, and be on point for quality, customer satisfaction and vitality for their part of the business.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of work experience in product management, product marketing or commercial roles in the healthcare industry.
Demonstrated experience and ability to work in a global and cross functional team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated fluency in English.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of global teams, schedules, and customers.
Ability to travel both locally and globally 20 % of the time.
Desired Characteristics
Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field.
Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders and in working in a matrixed environment, preferably in a medical or healthcare industry.
Clear thinker with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Utilizes technical expertise and judgment to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve complex problems.

Has industry knowledge and clinical depth for the perioperative space; able to derive recommendations for product roadmap from market insights.
Ability to communicate information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to independently lead and influence others, demonstrates self-motivation, enjoys navigating complex situations, and enjoys autonomy in execution.
Previous experience working with internal and external customers and colleagues, including both verbal and written customer-facing communication.
Demonstrates passion and eagerness for the clinical aspects of monitoring solution products and the patient outcomes we help drive.
