How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
We are seeking a skilled and solutions-driven Client Compute Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise-level client computing environments. This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile platforms, virtual desktops (VDI), and associated software, ensuring high performance, security, and user productivity. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Windows and macOS platforms, endpoint management tools, application packaging, imaging, patch management, and modern device management platforms like Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, or similar. This role will be based out of Goa or Hyderabad.
You will Make an Impact by:
Designing, configuring, and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient client computing environments, including Windows, macOS, and virtual desktop platforms.
Managing endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, SCCM, JAMF) to automate device provisioning, software deployment, patching, and compliance.
Developing and maintaining golden images, group policies (GPOs), and configuration baselines for workstations.
Deploying and managing OS updates, security patches, and application rollouts across all endpoint devices.
Supporting Windows Autopilot, hybrid Azure AD join, and modern endpoint management strategies.
Monitoring and optimizing device performance, security, and user experience.
Troubleshooting escalated hardware/software issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
Supporting BYOD, MDM, and co-managed device strategies.
Collaborating with IT security to enforce endpoint security standards and vulnerability remediation.
Documenting system configurations, build procedures, and support documentation for internal knowledge base.
Participating in lifecycle planning for hardware refreshes, OS migrations, and technology upgrades.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5 to 8 years of experience in client engineering, endpoint management, or desktop infrastructure roles.
Strong expertise with Windows 10/11, macOS, and associated endpoint deployment/management tools.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM/MECM, or similar.
Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD, and PowerShell scripting.
Understanding of patch management, device encryption, antivirus, and compliance policies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
You Will Excite Us If You:
Have experience with VDI technologies (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop).
Possess knowledge of application virtualization (App-V, MSIX).
Are familiar with JAMF or other MDM platforms for macOS/iOS device management.
Have experience with Windows Autopilot, co-management, and hybrid Azure AD join.
Have exposure to Zero Trust or Modern Workplace frameworks.
