Job Description

Are you ready to shape the Global Cold Drinks Category Strategy in Arla’s fastest growing business unit? This is a unique opportunity to help build the future of Milk Based Beverages, spanning categories such as ready‑to‑drink (RTD) iced coffee and chocolate milk, with iconic brands including Starbucks, Milka and Galaxy, while also driving expansion into emerging and adjacent categories.

 

In this role, you will define and deliver a winning global portfolio, innovation, sustainability, and packaging strategy across our strategic brands and beyond.

 

You will join a Global Marketing team, working closely with the markets and our commercial teams to further strengthen and deliver our winning category strategy, at our Aarhus headquarter office. You excel in consumer and shopper understanding, strategic thinking and will play a key role in setting the direction for our business” says Categories and Brands Director for Milk Based Beverages, Alexander Isselhorst.

 

How you will make an impact

In the job you will focus on defining and executing our global drinks category strategy, packaging roadmap and sustainability agenda. You will also develop the next step of our shopper and consumer centric category strategy. You will be a close sparring partner for the MBB leadership team and impact both globally and locally defining the category strategy. Further you will

  • Develop initiatives to drive growth and focus of our category across markets
  • Develop new global RTD platforms for existing and new brands
  • Generate insights for our innovation pipeline across the category
  • Work in a close collaboration with Commercial, Brand, Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance and Market Research teams 

 

What will make you successful

You come with relevant experience from a similar position within the FMCG industry. Further, you

  • Have Trade Marketing Experience, with deep understand of shoppers and retailers and have passion for working on global brands such as Starbucks
  • Showcase strong strategic thinking and the ability to break down complexity to find solutions, unlock opportunities and confidently set direction
  • Are commercially savvy and results-oriented with a track record of successfully driving brand / category development that makes a positive change for the business 
  • Are comfortable working with performance, market and consumer data and translate those into insights to drive the growth of our brands and categories
  • Thrive in cross functional teams, connect across the network and drive engagement with (senior) stakeholders. Building relations with markets comes naturally to you.
