
Learning and Development Partner (12-Month Contract)

About the Role
This role supports training design and facilitation, systems implementation, onboarding, and broader People & Culture priorities across the organization. The position partners with Finance, People & Culture, and other lines of business to design and facilitate practical, effective training that builds employee capability, supports organizational priorities, and enables successful adoption of new systems and processes.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in adult learning, facilitation, and program development, along with the ability to create engaging learning experiences. Experience in digital learning design and micro-learning is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance, People & Culture, and other lines of business to identify learning needs and development priorities
- Design and facilitate training programs, including onboarding, technical, systems, and professional skills training, to support business and implementation priorities
- Support training and change readiness activities related to Workday or other HR systems and process implementations
- Develop structured and scalable learning approaches to support employee development
- Create clear, accessible learning materials (presentations, guides, and job aids)
- Facilitate training sessions (virtual and in person) in both English and French
- Apply adult learning principles to ensure effective learning outcomes, adoption and knowledge transfer
- Translate business needs into practical learning and development solutions
- Provide flexible support across broader People & Culture priorities and offer backup to other functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and employee programs, as needed
Digital Learning (Preferred):
- Develop short-form and micro-learning content
- Support the use of learning technologies and platforms (e.g., LMS)
- Contribute to scalable, accessible learning resources
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, organizational development, or corporate training
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training for adult learners (required)
- Proven facilitation experience with diverse audiences
- Experience supporting broader People & Culture initiatives and working flexibly across multiple priorities and functions
Preferred:
- Experience in digital learning design, including micro-learning or video-based content
- Familiarity with learning technologies or Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience supporting training, adoption, or change readiness for Workday or other HR systems implementations is strongly preferred
Language Requirement
Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required.
You will be expected to:
- Facilitate training in both languages
- Develop learning materials in English and French
- Ensure content is Quebec-appropriate and culturally relevant
