Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by driving process optimization, improving productivity, ensuring product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement engineering solutions, and contribute to Nexperia's manufacturing excellence journey.

What You Need to Do

  • Support daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Drive yield, productivity, cycle time, and equipment performance improvements.
  • Investigate process deviations, quality issues, and manufacturing challenges, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and support engineering projects, process qualifications, and new technology introductions.
  • Utilize data analysis and problem-solving methodologies to drive sustainable improvements.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and other stakeholders to achieve operational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, automation, and digitalization initiatives.

What You Need to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or related disciplines).
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant working experience in manufacturing or semiconductor environments will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, DOE, or other engineering tools is advantageous.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic and technology-driven manufacturing environment.
