Job Description

Position Summary:
Houston Oaks is excited to welcome a passionate individual to our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating memorable experiences for our Membership while nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment rooted in integrity, community, and harmony. You will be responsible for the efficient and clean and organized lobby areas and lodging units while adhering to Club safety standards, all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members. 
• Clean and dust rooms and furniture throughout the clubhouse and other public areas.
• Clean members and employee bathrooms and restock supplies.
• Vacuum carpets and mops floors.
• Sweep patio area. 
• Empty all wastebaskets and ashtrays throughout clubhouse.
• Disinfect telephones.
• Clean and polish brass.
• Clean office windows and glass on doors. 
• Report any damage, burned out light bulbs and plumbing problems.
• During events, greet members and guests in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner.
• Ensure work is completed before the end of the shift.
• Assist in the laundry area when needed.
• Any other duties, as assigned.

Working Conditions:
• You will be working in variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold).
• You may encounter chemicals, dust and/or mites, but we ensure a safe and supportive environment
• You may experience variable noise levels.

Physical Requirements:
• Standing, stooping, bending and twisting for most of the workday.
• Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
