Core Responsibilities
The role of Manager Specialist, Global S&OP position covers a diverse range of responsibilities, more specifically:
- Lead cross-functional project to enhance our S&OP process, adapting to dynamic internal and external environments.
- Maintain the integrity of key S&OP principles and standards, whilst identifying opportunities to optimise and adapt to new realities.
- Support shaping S&OP governance and future integration approaches, structuring complex topics into clear insights to enable structured problem‑solving and scenario‑based recommendations
- Anticipate needs on data foundation and collaborate with Digital organization to ensure right quality of data and insights across S&OP.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams across the supply chain and beyond to drive key initiatives, support strategy formulation, and strengthen connections that enable aligned and efficient execution.

S&OP is a critical global function within the LEGO Group with the overall purpose of optimizing the balance between supply and demand. It has high focus and attention throughout the organisation, all the way up to Executive Management, and continues to be integral to business success.
We have a significant change agenda ahead of us across our Global Supply Chain organisation as we expand our manufacturing and distribution footprint to new geographies to support the evolving portfolio. Adapting and future-proofing our corporate S&OP process including its governance, will ensure a continued seamless connection between a more complex design->make->sell process.
You will join the Global S&OP team based in Billund and report directly to the Head of Global S&OP. The team partners with the full value chain to understand the constantly evolving risk profile of both supply and demand and ultimately secure the necessary trade-off decisions to protect our company’s end-to-end balance.
Do you have what it takes
The ideal candidate comes with broad experience in supply chain planning or inventory management with at least 3 years in an S&OP role.
Moreover, they come with:
- 5+ years of proven supply chain planning experience from a similar role or within Supply Inventory Planning, Commercial Planning, Finance or equivalent - preferably in a global manufacturing company.
- Proven experience with S&OP processes, trade-off decisions and strategic capacity.
- Strong strategic thinking, with an end‑to‑end supply chain mentality that links operational processes to broader business objectives with a clear view of the bigger picture.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, global environments.
- Resilience: Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to structure clear documents and presentations, translating complex topics into concise and compelling messages for senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, persistent, strong drive and can-do attitude.
- Education in Economics, Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain or a similar educational field.
- Ideally experienced in digital transformation in an international organisation.
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
