Job Description
Lobby Attendant
Summary:Responsible for ensuring assigned housekeeping, public, and associate areas are clean, stocked, and maintained in accordance with Omni Standards, providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates.
Responsibilities:
Clean and stock linen rooms and supply closets to appropriate par levels
Empty GRA linens and garbage on an hourly basis or as needed
Clean and service all assigned offices
Maintain cleanliness of guest room corridors, including assisting with moving trays and tables
Clean vending machine areas
Move furniture and supply boxes as needed
Fulfill guest requests in a timely manner
Vacuum carpets daily
Clean walls, doors, baseboards, and floors daily
Ensure all furniture, lamps, picture frames, and mirrors are clean
Replace light bulbs in fixtures as needed
Clean garbage receptacles and ash urns daily
Promote a respectful and cooperative work environment among associates
Maintain a professional, neat, and organized appearance in accordance with Omni standards
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and safety situations
Ensure a safe environment for guests and associates to reduce risk of injury
Attend all required trainings and departmental meetings
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management
Requirements:
Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance at all times
Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining professionalism and composure
Effective communication skills with guests and associates, both verbally and in writing
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and squatting
Ability to lift, carry, push, and move items as needed
Must be dependable and able to report to work as scheduled
Must meet grooming and hygiene standards at all times
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and high-demand periods
