Description

Our growing Hospitality Software Consulting organization is expanding its North America Consulting practice and seeking Consultants interested in electing to transition their careers into Hospitality Software with a vision to use their extensive hotel knowledge to enhance hotel management tools for customers.

 The role involves implementing, installing, configuring, and providing ongoing support for customer solutions that utilize Hospitality software and related platforms. This role also requires extensive (50% - 60%) travel to promote a strong team environment to ensure successful software implementation. This is a client-facing role, representing Infor´s commitment to product support while collaborating with professional services and support personnel to ensure quality product and service delivery.

 The ideal candidate should have previous hotel operations experience capable of configuring and implementing primarily our property management system.

 


A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

 * Implement, install, configure, and support customer solutions, including server OS and Hospitality software installation/upgrades.
 * Perform remote installation of interface applications (device-based interfaces, application interfaces, HTNG interfaces, credit card interfaces).
 * Provide on-site transitional support during software go-live.
 * Communicate project status timely to customers and Infor teams.
 * Complete all project documentation as per Infor guidelines.
 * Adhere to project schedules, including travel, training, meetings, and conference calls.
 * Assist with installation and training documentation updates.
 * Maintain product expertise through training and certifications.




Basic Qualifications:

 * Previous experience in hotel operations and preferably in management, and/or event management.
 * Ability to perform independently on customer and non-customer projects.
 * Experience training others on new software applications.
 * Ability to manage training schedules and roll-outs.
 * Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.
 * Ability to travel up to 60% throughout North America (US and Canada), based on project needs.

 


Preferred Qualifications:

 * Knowledge of Web Services, REST, HTML, SOAP, MS SQL server, Windows Operating Systems, and Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
 * Software application installation experience.
