
Field Application Engineer (Located in Seoul, Korea)
Job Description
■ Purpose of this Position:
Moxa Korea is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team. As a FAE, you will act as a bridge between our sales team, product development team, and end-users to ensure successful integration of Moxa’s products and solutions.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving customer problems.
■ Key objectives for this position include:
1. Business initiative: Support Moxa Korea’s key initiative and achieve sales target and strategic objectives
2. Customer Relationship: Maintain good relationships with customers by providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, which include proposal, technical consulting and issue solving.
3. Professional Service: Algin with Moxa initiate, provide professional technical to customer, including proof-of-concept testing, system design, and on-site support.
4. Activity Support: To support business activities such as seminar, marketing event, roadshow and etc.
5. Training: To create training material and provide technical training to customers and distributors.
■ Major Areas of Responsibility:
Major Areas of Responsibility (Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned):
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Moxa's products and solutions.
- Tender document study and analysis.
- To propose suitable solutions, execute POC (Proof of Concept) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for Moxa’s distributors and end customers
- Support pre-sales activities such as seminar, customer visit, exhibition, to present Moxa product and value proposition.
- Support trouble shooting during post-sales stage
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to identify customer needs and propose suitable Moxa solutions.
- To answer request for proposal
- To resolve customer’s applications via technical expertise.
- To obtain customer’s satisfaction.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training to customers and distributors.
- Assist in proof-of-concept testing, system design, and on-site support as needed.
- Work with Moxa HQ, Product team and R&D teams on customer feedback, feature requests, and product issues.
- Provide professional technical service to customer, including proof-of-concept testing, system design, training and on-site support. (maybe with charge to customer)
- Participate in technical events, trade shows, webinars, and roadshows to promote Moxa solutions.
- Maintain strong industry knowledge and stay updated with new technologies and trends.
■ Minimum Job Requirements
- College degree in Engineering or related degree.
- Quick learner for technical knowledge.
- At least 5 years’ experience of working experience for network product.
- CCNA, CCNP, or above is preferred.
- Familiar with network technologies such as VLAN, RSTP, IGMP, NAT, VPN and Routing Function.
- Familiar with L2 switch.
- R&D Background for 3~5 year.
- Fluency in Korean and English (Chinese will be a plus).
