Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and grow our customer base in the paints industry across Catalonia, Valencia and Madrid. This role focuses on managing existing business relationships and developing new opportunities for distribution chemicals  and Omya minerals. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, technical understanding of paint applications, and a passion for customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers in the paints industry.

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting new clients and expanding product penetration.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.

  • Product Promotion: Promote chemical additives and minerals , providing technical and commercial support.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (technical service, supply chain, marketing) to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

  • 10 years proven experience in distribution sales as account manager in the chemical industry, ideally in paints and coatings.

  • Strong knowledge of paints production process, formulation and additives

  • Fluent in English is a must.
