Job Description
UEM Edgenta Berhad is dedicated to nurturing young talents through our Graduate Trainee Program (GeT). This program is designed to empower graduates with essential skills and hands-on experience to excel in the working landscape. Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and enhancement of Contractor Program Management processes and online systems.
- Analyse data related to Contractor Management, including contractor performance, consequence management, and contractor capabilities.
- Support the planning and execution of Contractor Program Management events and engagements (e.g. contractor roadshows, Safety Day, contractor development coaching/training, forums).
- Assist in Contractor Management improvement initiatives and projects (e.g. ProSafe, HSSE Scoreboard).
- Provide support in HSSE technical matters, including contractor HSSE documentation and Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HSSE, Engineering, or a related field.
- Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
- Basic knowledge of research and data analysis; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to ISO standards or productivity tools (e.g. Canva, NotebookLM) is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong teamwork, basic problem-solving skills, and ability to plan and execute tasks effectively.
