The Buyer will maintain and execute procurement and purchasing activities for projects across Rig Construction and Special Projects. This person will work closely with construction management, accounts payable, vendor services, and shipping and receiving to ensure that all contract administration procedures are followed and executed as required. The buyer will also be responsible for capital project purchases, maintaining delivery schedules and project cost reporting. The person in this role must be able to operate within a time-sensitive environment.
The Buyer reports to Manager Sr Projects and supports Rig Construction, Special Projects and other departments as required.
