Job Description
The Logistics Intermodal Executive is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and developing intermodal transport solutions that optimize cost, time, and efficiency. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, technical logistics knowledge, and the ability to identify and capture new business opportunities within the local and regional logistics market. Sales Commercial Development Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics. Develop new business opportunities through proactive customer engagement and market research. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring trust and satisfaction from the first interaction. Prepare, present, and negotiate competitive proposals including pricing, service offerings, and contractual terms. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of services and customer satisfaction. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to propose strategic solutions. Technical Analytical Responsibilities Analyze rate structures, transport modes, and route flows to design cost-effective and efficient logistics solutions. Evaluate operational profitability, margins, and cost-saving opportunities. Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track opportunities, and monitor customer performance. Generate reports and insights using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and, ideally, Power BI to support strategic decision-making. Support intermodal operations by coordinating with trucking, clearance, and warehousing partners.
