Freight Rate Filing Employee

Job Purpose: The Freight Rate Filing Employee is responsible for accurately filing ocean freight rates as agreed between the customer and MSC for specific transportation routes. This involves entering the information into our centralized database using our internal TMS application, streamlining the billing process for enhanced client convenience. Key Responsibilities: Receive new filing requests, meticulously examining the provided information to ensure adherence to Geneva Liner guidelines and seeking clarifications from agencies worldwide and Geneva HQ when details are unclear. Enter ocean freight rates into our internal TMS application. Investigate disputes between MSC and clients by identifying procedural lapses and determining steps that were not properly followed. Educate agents on necessary requirements, fostering an efficient workflow by ensuring timely filing of rates with fewer errors. Align with both individual and team goals, actively engage in team meetings, and uphold the company's core values. Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
