Manager Terminal Design & Operations

The Manager Terminal Design Operations will have the responsibility to the Director of Terminal Design Operations to contribute to the successful development and implementation of Terminal Design related projects that support TiL’s portfolio of terminals and projects; this includes business development activities, terminal projects under (re)development and expansion projects in existing terminals. The role is based in TiL’s headquarters, while travel may be required for the effective conduct of it. The main responsibilities will include: Working closely with and in function of the needs of the Internal Customer (represented by Business Development, Terminal Development or Terminal Investments), Develop a Terminal Solution that addresses the targets set by the Internal Customer (volume, capacity, safety, productivity, emissions), including quantification of resources (area, labour, organisation) and cost effectiveness (investments, operating costs), Manage the effort of testing a Terminal Solution (including Static and Dynamic simulation analyses) to mitigate related risks, when the risk level requires this to be undertaken, Assessment of investment opportunities, including due diligence investigations; for existing terminals review of expansion proposals and operational optimisation programs, Develop design standards that support future-proof solutions and meet the latest standards for health, safety, emissions, efficiency, Develop, maintain and use of tools and protocols to standardise the delivery of the Terminal Solution; this includes Design Assumptions Protocol, Mode of Operation selection, Terminal Layout, Capacity Calculator, Labour Model,
