We're looking for a dedicated and proactive Marine Officer who thrives in dynamic environments and is all about keeping things running smoothly and safely at sea. Key responsibilities: Monitoring the weather conditions of our vessels Creating and uploading passage plans into our systems Coordinating with the Master to ensure voyage plans are safe, up-to-date, and weather-ready Advising on adjusting course and speed to limit vessel rolling/pitching in inclement weather. Checking weather conditions before port arrival and helping organize tugs and mooring Ensuring anchoring only in designated areas and avoid in adverse weather conditions. Coordinating the installation of Shore Tension systems and lock passages with the Person in Charge (PIC) Supporting incident follow-up in case of damages or claims
