For our portfolio company FIAMM, an industrial manufacturer headquartered in Montecchio / Vicenza (Veneto), we are looking for an HR Manager (m/f/d).
In this role you are responsible for all HR related processes across the company, ensuring full compliance with labor laws, company policies, and global HR strategy. The role focuses on personnel administration, labor relations, compensation & benefits, and recruitment from B3 level and above as well as onboarding and training & development in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and supporting local HR teams abroad. Furthermore, you will support and drive HR's role in the company's ongoing operational transformation, including change management initiatives and workforce planning, and act as a trusted partner to leadership in managing the people dimension of structural change across functions. The role reports to the CHRO of the company.
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor HR policies aligned with corporate strategy, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international labor laws.
Manage compensation and benefits, including benchmarking, salary review processes, and administration of benefit programs, while monitoring the HR budget.
Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding for B3+ roles: define profiles with Line Managers, manage sourcing, selection, and offer negotiation, ensuring compliance with salary bands and procedures.
Oversee contract finalization, onboarding, and probation follow‑up, coordinating with IT, Facilities, Payroll/Admin, and Line Managers for a smooth integration.
Coordinating with Compensation, Admin, and People Development to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
Serve as HR reference for international subsidiaries, managing INAZ user creation/closure and aligning HR practices between HQ, branches, and field sites.
Drive learning and development by identifying training needs, designing and managing training (including funded plans), and tracking participation, impact, and budget vs. HR KPIs.
Lead HR communications and employer branding initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging across HQ, logistics, and international branches and supporting engagement surveys and follow‑up actions.
Supervise HR operations and employee data (records, contracts, employment changes), track key HR KPIs (turnover, absenteeism, headcount), and prepare HR and legal reports.
Act as the main point of contact for employee relations, advising managers, handling sensitive cases (disciplinary, grievances, complaints), and ensuring full legal compliance.
Oversee health and safety–related HR matters, including incident investigations, Safety Committee support, and collaboration with HSE.
Maintain accurate HR documentation (hiring, changes, org charts, performance development) and actively support cross‑site HR initiatives and monthly HR meetings.
Qualifications required
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
Min. 5 years of relevant working experience and proven ability to manage end-to-end HR operations across multiple sites, incl. talent acquisition processes and people development
In-depth knowledge of Italian labor law, HR policies and familiarity with salary frameworks, job grades, and compensation tools and basic understanding of international HR compliance
Solid understanding of compensation & benefits systems, employment contracts, and personnel administration
Skilled in negotiating employment offers and managing employee lifecycle from hire to exit
Capability to design, deliver and develop onboarding and training programs
Strong capacity for policy drafting, internal communication, and legal documentation
Ability to interact with legal advisors, unions, and public authorities when needed
High level of autonomy, accountability, and discretion as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle complex and sensitive HR issues with tact
Organizational skills and attention to detail, but with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude
Capacity to lead cross-functional collaboration and build trusted relationships across departments and countries
Problem-solving and adaptability in a multi-site and international context
Strategic thinking as well as diplomacy and negotiation
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ATS platforms, HRIS (e.g. INAZ, SAP, SuccessFactors) as well as time management systems
Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English is required, give the role’s exposure to Italian labor law, union relations, and day-to-da interaction with local teams and authorities
