Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled service engineer to handle on-site service, repair, maintenance, and warranty claims for our sinusoidal and peristaltic pumps. This role will involve on-site service, repair, and troubleshooting, as well as technical support from our service center. Experience in both life sciences and general industry is preferred, with the ability to travel to customer sites for IQOQ, maintenance, and various services. In the future, you will also be involved in troubleshooting pump systems, including Ethernet communications. Main Responsibilities On-site Service Maintenance -Perform installation guidance, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of peristaltic pumps, ensuring optimal performance. -Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and operational issues with pumps on client sites in both BioPharma and Industrial environments. -Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to pump systems, including issues with VFDs, electronics, and electrical components. -IQOQ Execution. Repair Warranty Claim Processing -Handle repair tasks in the service centre and on-site, managing warranty claims in accordance with company policies and guidelines. -Coordinate with the service team and customers to facilitate the timely and efficient repair or replacement of faulty equipment under warranty. Proactive Maintenance Service Contract Proposal -Identify opportunities for customers to benefit from ongoing maintenance contracts. -Propose tailored maintenance contracts to customers, ensuring long-term client relationships and consistent pump performance. Safety Compliance -Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safety-conscious mindset at all times, both on-site and in the service centre. -Ensure that all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures. Technical Expertise -Provide technical advice and support to customers, resolving queries related to pump systems and operational issues. -Assist with troubleshooting and repairs involving electrical components, VFDs, and control systems (e.g., Profibus, RS485, etc.). Documentation and Reporting -Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation for all on-site visits, repairs, and maintenance activities. -Provide customers with post-service reports, including maintenance recommendations, repair summaries, and technical guidance. Customer Support Relationship Management -Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and offering timely solutions. -Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support as needed. Continuous Learning and Development -Stay updated on the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends. -Attend training sessions and obtain certifications relevant to equipment and safety. -Share knowledge and best practices with peers and junior engineers.
