Develop Payroll & Time strategy and operating model within the context of a rapidly evolving HR Shared Services model as well as provide tactical direction and seek alignment with HR Leads in the markets and above market.
Defines and establishes best-in-class payroll and time solutions that will scale with employee growth, support the company’s wide range of compensation and benefits programs, and meet multi-jurisdictional compliance requirements
Lead payroll and time transformation initiatives
Drive adherence to consistent above market framework and coordinate regional efforts towards a modernized Payroll and Time toolbox, while supporting flexibility locally as required
Build partnerships and solicit feedback from internal and external business partners to define and develop successful, scalable processes and practices
Provide oversight to the team's activities and processes, ensuring that pertinent internal and external compliance and government interaction standards are met
Implement and leverage technology that best fits the companies needs
Establish an effective operational management system to track and communicate performance against internal service level agreements and external benchmarks
Provides technical advice, manages employment tax audits and risks, and engages with internal and external counsel, auditors, third-party service providers, and advisors as needed
Drives process and policy recommendations with stakeholders to ensure that compliance objectives are met
Provide leadership over end-to-end payroll processing performed by both outsourced/3rd party vendors and inhouse operations
Oversight of pension (and benefit administration for Germany only), and any associated regulatory reporting requirements
Manage initiatives to drive continuous improvement in payroll and time processing, system configurations, and the control environment, ensuring timely and accurate operations
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all tax compliance reporting matters
