Patient Care Assistant II (Ear, Nose and Throat)

Department/ Hospital: Ear, Nose & Throat Department, Kowloon East Cluster
Pay: HK$19,764 to HK$24,701 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
 

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the health care professionals during clinical consultation / treatment and investigative procedures.
2. Clean and pack the surgical instrument and equipment after use and send it for sterilization.
3. Ensure instruments, equipment and physical work environment are in good condition.
4. Provide supportive healthcare services to patients under nursing supervision.
5. Undertake clerical /receptionist duties and handle patient / public enquiries.
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:
1. Completed F.5/S.5, or equivalent.
2. Completion of a recognized /in-service training program (See Remarks).
 

Preferable Attributes:
1. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
2. Be able to perform typing and computer operation in MS Office, MS Excel and Chinese word processing.

2.Applicants who do not meet entry requirement (2), if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months on-the-job training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.
