Job Description
Department/Hospital: Pathology Department, Tseung Kwan O Hospital
Pay: HK$25,269 to HK$28,492 (HGPS point 8 - 10) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attend to the general cleanliness of the mortuary.
2. Receive bodies of the deceased delivered to the mortuary.
3. Responsible for handling the bodies and arrange for identifying claiming and removal of bodies by the relatives of the deceased.
4. Assist Pathologists in performing post-mortem examination.
5. Prepare for and clean up after autopsies.
6. Handle laboratory specimen and equipment as required.
7. Handling Coroner’s interview and document as required.
8. Work in Lab and handling specimen and equipment as required.
9. Non office hour on-call duty when required.
10. Work in General Office and test registration as required.
11. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Entry Requirements
1. Able to write Chinese and speak fluent Cantonese and have some knowledge of English.
2. Pleasant and mature personality, interested to work in hospital environment with patients.
Preferred Attributes / Exposure
1. Completion of Form 3 education or equivalent.
2. Able to adapt to working in mortuary.
3. Relevant working experience in autopsy room.
4. Experience in creating Audio Visual with AI technology.
