Salary: | HK$17,286 – HK$26,908 (HGPS point 2 - 9) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a clerical in-charge in local clinic.
2. Act as the shroff operation in-charge in the clinic and ensure the daily transactions are complied with Finance’s guidelines.
3. Cross check day-end count to ensure correct payment collection are performed.
4. Coach and supervise junior staff on counter service including shroff operation, appointment booking and other related duties.
5. Perform registration and appointment booking in local clinic.
6. Act as OPAS resource person for quota setup, adjustment and maintenance.
7. Prepare and validate monthly statistical report to nurse in-charge for clinical services and programs evaluation.
8. Maintain proper medical record filing and record system.
9. Perform receptionist duties and answer both phone and in-person enquiries.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements: | ||
1. | (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR | |
| (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: | |

2. | Ability to perform typing, word processing and / or Chinese word processing. |
Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1. With at least 3 year working experience in Specialist Outpatient Clinic / General Outpatient Clinic / Ambulatory Centre in HA hospitals.
2. Knowledge of common office automation (e.g. e-mail / internet / intranet / operation of fax machine etc) and PC applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint etc).
3. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese and knowledge of other dialects (e.g. Mandarin)
5. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
