Senior Infrastructure / Platform Engineer (DevOps + GCP)

About the Role 

You will build and run the foundation that AssureDroid scales on. From the dev cluster on AWS EKS today to the GCP-native deployment in Phase 2 — you own the migration path. From the stateless runner pods that auto-scale to thousands to the device farm integrations that connect to physical Pixel and Samsung hardware — you make the platform reliable. 

This role is for engineers who understand that the CP/DP separation in the architecture is not a diagram — it’s a contract that must hold under load. You will enforce that boundary in code, in CI/CD, and in incident response. 

Role Expectation 

Design and operate the Kubernetes infrastructure — runner pod templates, HPA, RBAC, NetworkPolicy 

Build the CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions / Cloud Build) — build, test, lint, container, deploy 

Implement the device farm integration — Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, physical device racks 

Engineer the ADB-over-network infrastructure — connection stability, auto-reconnect, OEM quirks 

Build observability stack — OpenTelemetry, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace, custom dashboards 

Own the cost telemetry pipeline — every LLM call tagged, BigQuery aggregation, anomaly alerts 

Implement Cloud KMS secrets management and audit logging discipline 

Must-Have Skills 

6+ years infrastructure / SRE / DevOps in production environments 

Expert-level Kubernetes — pod design, HPA, networking, RBAC, security policies 

Hands-on with Terraform or equivalent IaC (Pulumi, CloudFormation) 

Strong GCP or AWS experience — preferably both 

Production experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Jenkins) 

Solid grounding in observability — OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog 

Comfortable with Docker and container security 

Experience with secrets management (Cloud KMS, Vault, AWS KMS) 

Linux administration and shell scripting fluency 

Nice to Have 

GKE / Vertex AI specific experience 

Temporal Cloud or workflow orchestration platforms 

ADB / Android tooling background — significant differentiator 

Experience with Firebase Test Lab or device farm operations 

Multi-region / DR design experience
