About the role
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Commercial team. This newly established role will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and performance insights that drive strategic decision-making.
You will contribute to board-level reporting, develop robust activity-based forecasts, and provide in-depth financial analysis to support operational performance and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives on turning data into meaningful insights and adding real value to the business.
Leading a small team responsible for accounts activities, a key aspect of this role is the active participation in the Team Leadership Group, where you will collaborate across all areas of the business to support operational decision-making. You will bring a strong commercial perspective, providing clear financial insights that help guide operational decisions while supporting the effective day-to-day performance of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver board-level financial reporting, including clear analysis of performance, trends, and variances
- Develop and maintain activity-based forecasts, supporting budgeting and forward planning
- Provide insightful financial analysis, modelling, and pricing support to inform operational decision-making
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial data and reporting
- Lead and coordinate finance team activities, driving service delivery, performance, and continuous improvement
- Support operational excellence through strong financial processes and quality assurance
What you will bring
- A tertiary qualification in an accounting, finance or related discipline
- Progress towards CA/CPA preferred but not essential
- Previous supervisory or team leadership exposure an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in management accounting, financial reporting and/or financial analysis with the ability to translate financial data into clear insights for senior leadership.
- Excellent communication, organisational skills and a commitment to detail and data integrity.
