Job Description

DealMaker is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the capital markets ecosystem with a mission to make online capital raising mainstream. We empower founders, CEOs, and operators to raise capital digitally, both from their own communities and through strategically marketed campaigns. No other platform provides an end-to-end solution like ours—and our track record speaks for itself, with over $2B raised across 1,000+ campaigns. We power the largest online capital raises for customers like EnergyX ($88M), Green Bay Packers ($65M), Miso Robotics ($72M+), Monogram Orthopaedics (Nasdaq:MGRM) and many others, with 3 IPOs in the past year alone. We are quickly expanding our horizons and are seeking talented team members to join us on our journey to transform the global capital market.

Who are you

The Implementation Manager is the dedicated customer-facing project manager responsible for ensuring DealMaker’s issuers launch efficiently, on time, and with confidence. Acting as the operational driver of each offering, you manage onboarding tools and portals, and keep both issuers and internal teams aligned on deliverables and timelines.

In this role, your focus is execution and accountability. While the Account Manager owns the long-term relationship and strategy, you will be the main point of contact for issuers throughout the entire onboarding journey, from contract to launch. You'll be the hands-on lead ensuring deliverables and milestones are met, potential blockers are addressed early, and issuers experience a smooth, professional onboarding journey.

What You'll Do

  • Project Ownership & Execution

    • Act as the end-to-end owner of issuer launches across our offerings, accountable for driving deals from kickoff through go-live while meeting critical timelines and milestones.

    • Own time-to-launch by driving accountability across issuers, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders—proactively identifying risks, unblocking dependencies, and ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.

    • Serve as the central point of contact for issuers throughout onboarding, building trust through clear communication, strong preparation, and proactive problem-solving before issues escalate.

    • Lead all onboarding operations by managing issuer workflows, tracking progress across multiple deals, and maintaining real-time visibility into milestones, risks, and dependencies using internal systems.

    • Coordinate cross-functional execution across Marketing Services, Compliance, and Account Management—ensuring seamless handoffs, aligned priorities, and timely delivery of all launch-related components.

    • Drive issuer readiness by guiding clients through onboarding requirements, reinforcing expectations, and maintaining a balance of transparency and accountability to prevent delays.

    • Optimize onboarding efficiency by managing re-raises and repeat issuers with streamlined workflows, leveraging existing data to accelerate time-to-value.

    • Partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering to identify gaps in tooling or process, contributing to system improvements that increase scalability, reduce friction, and improve overall launch velocity.

    Risk Identification & Escalation

    • Anticipate and surface potential roadblocks before they impact timelines.

    • Escalate issues to the Account Manager or internal stakeholders (Compliance, Marketing Services, Legal, Ops, Product, Finance) for fast resolution.

    • Proactively flag external challenges such as delayed financials, incomplete disclosures, or third-party dependencies that could delay launch.

    • Develop contingency plans when projects fall off track to protect delivery deadlines.

    Technology & Efficiency

    • Leverage DealMaker’s onboarding systems, CRM, and AI-driven dashboards to stay organized and efficient.

    • Maintain accurate project data to support reporting, capacity planning, and departmental forecasting.

    • Build and maintain customer-facing resources — guides, checklists, and templates — that enable issuers to self-serve and reduce the need for manual hand-holding at scale.

    • Use AI tools to draft follow-up communications, identify outstanding tasks across active deals, flag stalled onboardings before they become escalations, and improve internal processes.

What Skills You Need

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, client delivery, or operations (preferably in fintech, SaaS, or financial services).

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.

  • Strong communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills.

  • Client-facing professionalism with a customer-first mindset.

  • Advanced working knowledge of project management tools (Monday .com, Arrows or equivalent), HubSpot CRM (including Services objects and task dashboards), and reporting systems (Looker). Ability to manage and customize multi-flow onboarding plans and learn new in-product tooling as the stack evolves.

  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives in deadline-driven environments

  • Experience contributing to team-wide process improvements or knowledge resources — not just executing within existing systems

  • Resourceful self-starter who can navigate evolving processes, connect the right people and tools to get things done, and quickly build working knowledge of the equity crowdfunding industry, including the regulatory requirements of Regulation CF, Reg A+, and Reg D offerings that directly shape onboarding timelines and deliverables

  • Comfortable with hands-on, manual coordination — from booking meetings to managing follow-ups — and able to lead client-facing calls with confidence.

  • Willing to roll up their sleeves, fill in gaps, and do what it takes to keep a project on track — adapting quickly when priorities shift and thinking on their feet to solve problems in the moment.

  • Curious about and comfortable using AI tools to improve personal efficiency (email drafting, task tracking, follow-up automation). Prior experience with AI-assisted workflows is an asset.
