Southern Health Partners is seeking a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician to provide onsite medical services and clinical oversight at the Alleghany County Jail in Virginia.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct scheduled onsite patient evaluations and follow-up care
- Provide clinical guidance and oversight to nursing staff
- Review and sign treatment plans, medical orders, and documentation
- Prescribe medications and coordinate outside referrals as needed
- Support quality patient care through established protocols
- Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and compliance
Qualifications
✔ Active NP, PA, or MD license in the State of Virginia
✔ NP candidates must have collaborating physician agreement if required by state law
✔ Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, family medicine, or correctional healthcare preferred
✔ Ability to pass background screening and obtain facility security clearance
