Southern Health Partners is seeking a strong, experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to step into the role of Medical Team Administrator at the Cherokee County Jail in Centre, Alabama. This full-time leadership position combines hands-on patient care with daily clinical coordination, giving you the opportunity to make a measurable impact while working alongside a supportive and experienced healthcare team.
You will rotate schedules with another nurse leader, creating consistency, teamwork, and continuity of care within the facility. Every shift brings structure, purpose, and the chance to guide both patient outcomes and operational excellence.

What You鈥檒l Do
- Coordinate daily medical operations and nursing workflow within the facility
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Oversee sick call processes and follow-up care
- Maintain compliance with nursing standards, company policy, and facility procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation and assist with quality assurance initiatives
- Collaborate with medical providers and facility administration
- Support a professional, organized, and patient-focused healthcare environment
What You Bring
- Current, unrestricted Alabama LPN license
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Previous leadership or correctional healthcare experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to multitask and lead confidently in a structured environment
- Comfort working within a secure correctional healthcare setting
