Job Description

  • Ensure that DSV’s handling of dangerous goods complies with all international, regional, and country-specific regulations, as well as the DSV Group Dangerous Goods framework. Adjust local processes accordingly and monitor compliance
  • Ensure all staff receive required training under applicable legislation and the DSV Group framework
  • Ensure that Group and local dangerous goods objectives and milestones are met, and that all required reporting—such as incidents and training—is completed accurately and on time
  • Actively participate in activities and meetings initiated by Group Dangerous Goods, supporting the alignment of dangerous goods methods and routines within DSV
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to design and implement key DG & HSE initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance during audit preparation, incident investigations, and training 
  • Coach and support operational managers in DG safety planning and reporting
  • Monitor risk assessments, environmental impact assessments, inspections, and surveys
  • Lead significant risk assessments and serious Incident Investigations, and tracking corrective action reports
  • Provide detailed analysis of Incident performance and trends, and assist in developing strategies to reduce incidents
  • Support ISO audits, maintaining ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 certification
  • Provide additional support to the HSE team as required
