Job Summary
St. Francis Borgia Grade School is looking for an Aide for our Summer Camp Program. This position will be for the months of June and July.
The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
The Summer Camp Aide assists camp counselors and program staff in providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers. Responsibilities include supervising children, helping with activities, setting up equipment, and supporting daily camp operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist counselors with supervising campers during activities, meals, and transitions
- Help organize and lead games, arts and crafts, sports, and recreational activities
- Ensure campers follow camp rules and safety procedures
- Set up, clean, and maintain activity areas and supplies
- Provide positive encouragement and support to campers
- Help monitor attendance and assist with camper check-in/check-out
- Respond appropriately to minor conflicts and report concerns to supervisors
- Support staff during field trips and special events
- Maintain a clean and organized camp environment
