As Product Owner – Retail Websites, you’ll help bring clarity and consistency to the digital content of our websites that supports some of IAG’s most recognised brands such as NRMA. You’ll lead how content is delivered across our retail insurance websites, guiding teams through complex change while keeping customers, compliance, and quality front of mind. You’ll also identify opportunities to uplift our use of AI capabilities where it adds value, improving efficiency, consistency, and the customer experience. This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).

 

What You'll Do 

 

• Own and prioritise the content delivery backlog, balancing BAU updates, regulatory change, optimisation, and strategic initiatives across retail insurance digital channels.
• Lead day to day content production, ensuring customer facing content is accurate, accessible, compliant, and aligned to our retail insurance publishing and brand standards.
• Lead, coach and support a team of content producers, building capability and consistent delivery 
• Lead the team with a strategic perspective on adopting and integrating AI into content processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of digital content delivery.
• Partner closely with product, design, marketing, legal, and risk teams to align priorities and manage dependencies transparently.
• Embed governance and quality assurance into content workflows to reduce risk and support regulated retail insurance outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement across content processes, tooling, and ways of working to support scalable delivery.

 

What You'll Bring

 

• Strong hands on experience managing website content through a CMS in a complex or regulated environment.
• Proven experience working with Adobe and related martech tools to publish and manage digital content.
• Experience prioritising high volume content work with competing business and regulatory demands.
• Confidence exploring the feasibility and rapid adoption of AI, with the ability to identify practical use cases and apply them effectively within content workflows.
• Confidence leading or coaching content specialists, or strong readiness to step into a people lead role.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable content requirements.
• A quality driven mindset with practical knowledge of governance, accessibility, and compliance standards.
