Senior Advanced Solutions Consultant

This is what you are going to do!

Create business opportunities and develop value added consulting services by leveraging advanced process solutions domain expertise and understanding of customer business.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Contributes to the Strategic positioning of Yokogawa digital solutions including Energy Optimization Solutions, Advanced Process Control, Process Simulations solution and Corporate Level Automation Solutions in the market and defines and executes effective strategy for the own targeted area to expand business growth by leveraging consultant’s domain expertise and experience.
• Identifies business challenges for the targeted industries and formulates the related solutions to address customer’s need and increases order intake for Yokogawa. Connects the customer’s business needs to the Yokogawa vision (Industrial Autonomy, DX, SDG’s).
• Contributes to and stimulate innovation in the organization by scanning the market to identify needs, by creating innovative, new, solutions/components that satisfy those needs, aligned with European Headquarters. Builds relationships with customers for co-innovation based on Yokogawa’s Global Vision and shapes financially sound joint development projects with customers.
• Provides technical/domain expertise and advice to customers in respective area, clarifies customer needs and identifies possible solutions to help to transform potential customers’ business challenges into realizable solutions, hence fueling business growth for Yokogawa.
• Implements change or executes the related solutions within budget, schedule, and achieves the stipulated benefits while upholding Yokogawa’s quality standards.
• Assist the Major Projects objectives and goals, strategies, and tactics, from initial start of the project and continued value generation throughout the various phases in the project.
• Provides support to marketing team promoting the related technology/solutions in the market.
• Gathers, develops and shares professional knowledge of digital solutions in the Organization, participates in activities organized by professional body in respective area, reviews articles of peers and/or contributes to certification, in line with business needs and relevant developments, to provide relevant and useful advice and support to colleagues and management.
• Coaches, mentors and develops employees to support talent development and ensures strong growth in domain expertise accumulation within the organization.

We are looking for a colleague with:

• Bachelor level or Masters level in Engineering with at least 10 years of work experience in related industry or technical sales and at least 5 years of experience of solutions consultancy;
• Strong selling skills/demonstrated success in sales-driven environments;
• Capable of translating customer requirements into functional specifications for complex solutions, which normally span across multiple process areas or sections of a plant;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Strong communication skills;
• Good command in English (speaking and writing skills);
• Proficient in Hungarian language.
