Job Description

The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government.  The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.  

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee leasing progress and promotional activities, identify and approach suitable prospective tenants, and recommend tenancy terms

  • Handle the full cycle of tenancy administration, including offer preparation, leasing documents, rent review, rent relief, tenancy renewal and termination, statutory notices, respond to tenant enquiries and complaints, and manage rent arrears to ensure on-time lease execution process according to the agreed schedule

  • Implement marketing plans, prepare property particulars, mail shots, flyers, marketing materials, and advertisements

  • Scrutinize fitting-out proposals and coordinate premises takeover and handover

  • Support budget planning, rental forecasting, maintain leasing data, conduct market research for tenant mix and tenancy terms analysis, and generate reports for business reviews and projections

  • Provide insights into the development of smart city, environmentally sustainable, and place-making initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree or Higher Diploma holder in Surveying, Real Estate, Facility / Housing Management, Hotel Management, Promotion and Marketing, Business or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years’ leasing experience in commercial projects

  • Relevant professional qualification such as membership in housing management or surveying will be an added advantage
