In fact, if you looked up the definition of 'kid's paradise’, you’re likely to see a description of BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut.   About the Position: We are looking for a Full Time Grounds and Greenskeeper to maintain the appearance of our Cairns Coconuts Holidays Site reporting to the Park Manager. Working unsupervised, you will be motivated and capable of maintaining high-quality grounds while contributing to a positive resident and guest experience. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on gardening experience, supporting the delivery of consistent and well-presented outdoor spaces.   The Full-Time annual salary for this role is between $69000.00 - $72000.00.   Responsibilities As Grounds Officer, your duties will include, but are not limited to; Ensuring the site is maintained and presented at a high standard at all times Preparing and maintaining seedbeds and growing sites Propagating and planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, and bulbs Preparing lawn areas by spreading topsoil and planting grass, and by laying instant turf Maintaining planted and grassed areas by weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering and mowing Pruning trees and hedges, and installing plant support and protection devices Spraying and dusting plants and trees to control insects and disease   About You Sound Horticulture knowledge Minimum 2 years previous experience in garden care Ideally have a Certificate III Parks & Gardens (not essential) Previous experience working as a Gardener on a large multi-functional site 'C' Class Driver's Licence Ability to work with limited supervision Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster   Our Recruitment Process  We keep things simple and supportive:  Apply via our website; no cover letter needed  Quick phone chat and interview with your future manager  Background checks  Offer and onboarding; welcome aboard!  All applicants must be able to work in Australia and provide evidence of working rights, as well as undergo a National Police Check.    Let’s Create Amazing Experiences Together  Ready to do what matters, and know you matter?
