About the location:

Nestled in the heart of Central Serengeti amid wide-open plains, our Lodge is just a 45-minute drive from the Seronera Airstrip, accessible by connecting flights from three main airports within Tanzania. This beautiful lodge opened under the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts family in December 2012, and has 77 rooms including 12 suites and 5 villas, 3 stunning Food and Beverage venues, our unique Discovery Centre offering an interactive experience where you can learn about the wildlife, history and people of the Serengeti, Kijana Kids Club, a spa with 6 free-standing treatment pavilions offering bespoke rituals and treatments that celebrate Africa’s magic and mystique, fitness center and a dedicated team bringing your magical wildlife safaris experiences to life.BASIC PURPOSE:
To maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all aspects of the spa operation, assisting the therapist in setting & clearing up the treatment room and assist the guests in professional and helpful manner when required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort.
2. Comply with all Four Seasons’ policies and procedures.
3. Set-up and maintain spa including refreshments, changing area, treatment
rooms and relaxation area. Clean and set up treatment rooms as per
standard of a treatment.
4. Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality
and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible;
resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection
with spa services.
5. Assist guest to their appointments as they relate to the Spa services.
6. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
7. Assist guests with use and set-up of Spa facilities.
8. Assist staff in cleaning and clearing up all work areas at all time.
9. Check and follow up on the repair and maintenance of the spa.
10. Maintain par levels of spa linen at all times.
11. Retrieve, deliver, and store/set-up products from purchasing.
12. Clean and stock walkway area, pantries, office of the spa.
13. Ensure all equipment is in safe condition and in working order.
14. Adheres to the Lodge’s code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards.
15. Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talk.
16. Actively participates in briefings and meetings.
17. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe
working environment.
18. Performs any additional duties as assigned.
19. Is proficient in the use of the reservations software.
20. Identifies and reports facility maintenance issues and equipment related
problems immediately to manager.
