Role based in Parramatta/Sydney with flexible/hybrid working environment.

Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 + super
Play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of projects, coordinating activities, maintaining documentation, and monitoring progress to ensure informed decision-making through communication, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
About the role
The Project Officer supports project delivery by coordinating tasks, managing documentation, and tracking progress to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to quality standards, while balancing priorities and supporting decision-making through clear communication and analysis.
This includes:

Coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines to support delivery within scope, budget, and deadlines

Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and briefs

Engage and communicate with stakeholders, including committees and working groups

Monitor project progress, analyse data, and report on milestones and emerging risks

Conduct research and provide insights to support planning and decision-making
About You
You’re a proactive problem-solver with experience in project management, technology or reporting initiatives.
You will bring a strong background in systems and technology development, and an ability to interpret and interrogate datasets.
You bring strong analytical skills, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset. Knowledge of DRFA or bilateral funding arrangements is a plus, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Essential Requirements
Must be a current NSW Government Public Sector employee.
Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience.
